he said that there was only a 4 pound difference between the 2. steel is stronger. they have had aluminum problems in the past, however they have fixed those. also, he quoted me 340 3 weeks ago, but now they are like 450. so maybe that was it. he was gonna honor it, however i decided steel. he also said steel could be balanced better than aluminum and heat treated easier or something. he has only had 2 aluminum ds's snap on a tt z, the guy went steel, no problems. as far as i see it, i dont want to worry about snapping one in the future. i plan on hitting 600 after my build next year
