Message Well, another Z has been totalled, not mine though, I'm not this idiotic. Saturday night, 240sxgirl (respectively, my girlfriend of ~3 years for those who remember her Christmas ideas for me post) was driving around with member Kasper157 (lurker) in his Saphire Blue 93 2+2. For those of you at the last meet that I organized, we all know Eric (Kasper 157) drives like an idiot, as obvious from having just gotten his car back from the impound and also almost losing control bad when we were going to get food. Well, he felt he was invincible and, at 2am, took a turn at 55mph (+ most likely), lost control, and ended up putting the passenger side into a tree. Jeni's (240sxgirl) pelvic bone was broken. I spent the night with her last night, throughout all her pain, because I'm the one she wanted there (of course, I'm her boyfriend after all), at 8:30am this morning, they took her into surgery where they pieced together the left pelvic bone and put a screw in it.
The best parts: Eric walked away from the accident without a scratch on him, and guess what.....he doesn't have a license! His license was suspended (I know) from when his car was impounded (I'm assuming) for going 100+ on the highway and having 3 or more moving violations. So now, because he thought he was cool, Jeni is going to be in the hospital for 6-8 weeks (that'll extend past Christmas btw) because she has to learn how to walk again.
To top all of this off, he won't tell anyone any details about what happened. Most likely for legal reasons, but all he'll say is he hit a tree at ~55 mph. He actually laughed about it when he was first asked about it by one of her friends from what I'm told, he showed no remorse when one of my friends asked him, and when her brothers asked him, all he had to say was "it could've been worse." He actually believes that she wants to see him in the hospital too, she tells her friends and I all the time now how she hates him because of what he did to her, and yet he still shows up, conveniently when she's drugged up on morphine and doesn't realize who she's talking to. I told him not to come anymore tonight, because I can't stand to have him around after what he did to her.
My belief: based on the limited knowledge I have of Eric through e-mails and talking in person, he was drunk or possibly high, and that may be why he won't tell anyone all the details.
The end result: I'm working with her brothers and her mother (who is currently dying of Cancer might I add) to find and fund a lawyer, because they can't afford the hospital bills on top of the bills that her mother has for cancer treatment.
Moral of the story: leave the aggressive driving at the track please, and if you're going to do it on the streets, don't have someone in the car with you and don't do it where there are other people/cars around.
