This past weekend after being tormented by this tool that i life near endlessly i became fed up and agreed to race. My car was going to be worked on the following day so I didnt want to race it. I had multiple problems, eletrical, slave cylinder, clutch, loose exhaust bolts. So with all these problems I didnt want to race. However a friend of mine in town has a Z with nothing more than an exhaust currently. So long story short I used his car to race. The person I went up against has a 99 trans am with an intake, exhaust, chip, underdrive pulley, and big bore. This should put him around 400hp. On top of it he hate japanese cars including the Z. The closest drag strip in over an hour away but where I live there is an abandoned highway in the woods. Its a nice 3 mile strait away. So we took it to the strip. I BLEW HIM AWAY. After 3rd I was gone. It was just nice to lay into one of those anti-jap car morons. Later that day I found out he told all the locals he won. No matter. He knows he lost. At least my car is semi-exotic. :)
