pulled up TT.net and read your post. Pets are wonderful, especially dogs. I think Utah is between 13 and 15. His buddy Otto (just a year younger) vanished earlier this year -- we presume him dead, although we have no proof. He's never run away. I know what you mean about expecting to see him. Losing Otto has made me appreciate Utah all the more. It's going to be hard when he goes. I recommend waiting at least six months before getting another pet. Take the time to heal and reflect.
