I had dog for most of my life that I can actually remember, and she had a stroke at my parents home last summer. I was at work, and they had her put down before I got a chance to say my final goodbye. Sometimes I come across pictures with her in them, and it still makes me a little misty. My advice is to give it about 6 months, and get you a puppy. Sorry man, I know how it goes losing a pet. Especially one for that long.
