Message	Granted aerodynmics generally add top speed. But most rear spoilers cost you HP. They create downforce, but at the expense of top speed. Consequently, to go just as fast with a big spoiler [as opposed to without] you actually need more HP. Of course while you are going 150+ mph, it's nice to have your rear drive wheels in contact with the road surface. Big spoilers can serve a purpose; but I agree...for the street they look stupid.
