Message if your speed increase from 40 to 80 for example the wind resistance does not double, it quadruples. But you don't need 4 times the power to travel 80 mph compared to 40 mph. Sorry I forgot how to calculate the power needed to travel at certain speeds; H.S physics was too many years ago for me.
