:My gripe has nothing to do with the location of the roadway or any laws the guy was breaking. He endangered innocent lives unnecessarily. Passing unaware drivers going 120+ mph slower than you is just plain stupid. It is their job to be aware. If they cannot look out before making a turn, they should not be driving. Just as I don't pull out without looking and have people hit me that are going 20 mph faster, I don't pull out without looking and have people hit me that are going 120 mph faster. Besides, in Germany it is not uncommon to have people pass you that are going much faster than you. They have to be aware drivers, unlike the unattentive cell phone talking, coffee drinking, SUV driving idiots that clog American roadways. Slowing down to accomodate them is not my idea of progress. Let natural selection do its job.
