:This is not an activity to be condoned or idolized. That guy is an utter jackass. Endangering people's lives so he could make a video of himself driving way too fast is completely unacceptable. To people that grew up in the US, the thought of going over 100 mph is "irresponsible", no matter what car you're in. That's because many of us tend to search for moral justification of the laws which we're forced to live under, and we then impose those values on everyone else as if such values were universal and absolute. The only reason you think it's irresponsible and unacceptable is because it goes against the laws you live under. If the title of the video was "199mph on public German road", I think the response to those actions would be a bit different, although the speeds and dangers involved would be the same.
