you've mentioned that the HKS Sport R-2's have 60mm piping, which actually helped in gaining back the low end torque. after installing my HKS Hipers, i felt quite a dramatic loss of low end power. however, the Hipers piping diameter is only 5mm larger, at 65mm. can that 5mm be that big of a difference? sometimes i don't understand this issue whole NA/backpressure issue. most of the aftermarket exhaust have 2.5" piping. the piping for the hipers are 65mm which is exactly equal to 2.559". again, this does not seem to be a huge difference in piping size at all. so i don't understand why people say that the hipers are not designed for the NA's when they are only larger by 0.059" from the rest of the pack. by switching to another 2.5" piping exhaust, i would assume the low end loss would still be present, and that the only real way to get that back is to go back to stock size of 2.25". do you guys agree, or am i missing something here?
