not much you can do about it but plead guilty. And community service usually is always more work than its worth. Its always best to just pay a big fine than to pay a fine, and do community service. And if you guys think he will still be a danger to society, trust me after the courts get done with him, he'll be driving no fast than 50 mph ever. My friend went through the same thing, wasted money on a lawyer, then wasted 100 hrs of his time doing community service, when he could have paid another fine of $600 instead. Almost identical story as yours, pretty funny!
