If we pull out now, then the 300+ soldiers that did die, died in vain. They died to make sure that Iraq became a stable country, one that did not harbor terrorists or have intentions of attaining nuclear weapons that could either be used against the United States or one of our allies. They died for the cause of protecting you and me, and they did it well. But to pull out now would make all of those personal sacrafices mean nothing, it would be the highest form of disrespect. They beleived their commander in chief, they beleived they were fighting for our freedome and our safety, to make sure 9/11 never happens again. ANd when some peopl die, we say, "Ooops, nevermind, thought you all were going to roll over and let us do whatever we wanted?" It is almost certain with Saddamm still in hiding, that he would reemerge with troops ready to take the country back. This time with a vengeance of hatred stronger than before. Remember, we killed his only two sons, bombed his estates and castles, and left his army in shambles of a 19th century army, if you think he was dangerous before, what would he be now that he has nothing left. Desperate and ready to do anything in his power to make Americans suffer! I don't agree with alot of what Bush does, but on this I stand by our president. The reason we have a problem with terrorists, is because they think what they are doing will work. Killing innocent civilians, attaining losses to our armed forces, they see us as wanted to live more than wanted to die for our causes, which is ludacriss considering how our country was formed!!! We pulled out of Iran in 84' because of the terrorists killing and kidnapping soldiers and civilians. Maybe if we had stayed, Iran wouldnt be the hotbed of antiAmerican setiment that it is, maybe it wouldbne be were a bunch of AlQuada soldiers are hiding out. We pulled out of Samolia and other parts of the middle east as soon as one media person said it resembled Vietnam. Those Soldiers in Somalia went trying to overthrow a dictator killing his own people and commiting forms of genocide. They dies for that cause, and Clinton pulled us out of there, leaving that dictator in power, so what was it for, nothing, they dies for no cause, it was politics! Bin Laden and all of those terrorists see this as a huge weakness, kill a few Americans and they will run and leave us alone, this is what they want. We stay there till the job is done, period, otherwise we shouln't go in at all. Now your arguement will be we should not have gone in, but that agreument has no merit, becuase it is in the past. What do we do now, we fight the fight and stand up for the ideals that built this country. You don't see the big picture, much like many Democrats currently bashing Bush for his handling of the situation. We leave, we lose, our brothers, fathers, uncles, sisters, died for nothing, is that really what we want????
Drive a TT and you'll realize that turbo should be a standard option on all cars!!! |
