I want to run 18psi or so on 94 octane and when I run 30+ I will use VP16. I was thinking 9:1. What you think?
:I went with 8.6:1 as I don't mind using race gas to run the higher boost. :The higher the CR the higher the octane requirements but the better off boost and low and mid speed drivability. :The current trend is to use smaller turbos on and mid compression engine to get a smoother power curve. :However we both have larger turbos that can run 28-34PSI and after 116 octane fuels become a big issue. :These guys are talking about smaller turbos that probably will never see 20+ psi on a constant basis. :
