and I6 is much better balanced (and the VG30 is prone to spinning rods and bearings as a result). However, on the TTZ, because of the location of the intake, a front mount intercooler would block the air flow to the intake. Then relocate the intake you say...that solves that. Upgrade the radiator as well and you're all good, but just popping an FMIC on a TTZ isn't a great idea. And I6's are good, I don't deny that at all, but it's not like the V6 is bad. I love Supra's, they're incredible cars (though, like I said, they only produce huge power in numbers and RPMs that you'll never use), but just because they have an I6 doesn't mean we should have one. And about 3000GT's and 3Si's, they suck. Period. They're not as well constructed overall, the transmissions blow ass (3Si owners would be smart to keep a spare transmission in the garage), and they're heavy as hell (4000lbs ++). When people are arguing the greatest Japanese supercars, you hear NSX, Supra, 300ZX, and RX-7, and the person who compares the 3000GT to them gets flamed like crazy. Also note: the 3000GT is the only one of these jap supercars above 4k lbs., the only one with a transversely mounted engine, and the only one with AWD. Cliffnotes: I6 is good, but V6 isn't bad.....FMIC on TTZ not good idea unless relocating intake(s) and upgrading radiator.....3000GT does not compare to other Japanese supercars =)
