| We never asked them to do diagnostics. We called them and told them exactly what we wanted done. They gave us a price then doubled it after they had her keys and would not give her car back. They did not do any work. It sat on their lot in the exact same spot it was when we dropped it off. They adjusted their quote and came back and said you pay $1600 or $95 to get the car back. She wanted to goto the dealer so she got a quote. It was a good quote for the work being done. And yes you are acting like an idiot.. You always have acted like an idiot to me, so in my eyes, your an idiot. :All I said was "You don't expect a shop to spend an hour of their time, figuring out what's wrong with your car, so you can get it out of there and do the work yourself, without paying them for their time, do you?"
