I'm not an engineer so all I can tell you is what they're "supposed" to do and from all that I've read, inconel is an exotic metal and is "supposed" to be able to withstand 16,000 degree temperatures. Inconel is a type of very high grade stainless steel. It will not hold up to anything close to 16,000 degree temperatures. It melts at 2540 degrees.
