Subject	Busted strut?

Message	The place doing my estimate told me that my passenger strut was busted. Would a busted strut cause the car to want to steer in it's own way? ex: If I am driving and turn it slightly to the right, the wheels go all the way to the right by themselves. I think there would be more damage to it than that though.
