Message	Step A: Call insurance company, find out what discount you have, and what discounts exist. They usually know certain things about your car thanks to the VIN (like ABS), but some things they don't know. Discounts include: Airbags (they usually know) Anti-Lock brakes (they may know) Security System (they usually don't know) Good Student Discount (keep your grades up, and you'll save hundreds - this is my biggest discount) Passive Restraints (automatic seat belts - they usually don't know) Special Discounts: Driving classes. I paid $100 to take a "Teen Smart" safe driving course. This saves me $150 every six months. It's an investment. Invest now - reap later. Your insurance company doesn't know if you qualify for these discounts if you don't tell them!! Give them a call, ask what they offer, and tell them what you qualify for. Other ways to Save: Classify your Z as a weekend car if you have more than one vehicle. Tell them you drive the car less than 10k miles a year - they base rates on how much driving you do... btw they don't ever check the mileage - so it's okay to be creative if need be. Save up $500 - and put it in the bank. Now get a minimum of a $500 deductible. You'll save. WAR!! Kenny...
