In that case, you should do the research and buy based on the engineering, not the higher price and the mental image that it gives you. Many out there believe that you always get what you pay for. But often you don't, you just pay more and get ripped off. I watched the History channel's show about the 240Z the other day... that was a great car with solid engineering and it sold for a bargain. It easily outperformed more expensive European cars and sold for a fraction of the price. I'm sure that even back then, there were idiots who didn't like it because it was very affordable and therefore they thought that it couldn't be as good as a more expensive car. Hey, if anyone out there still believes that you get what you pay for, call me up and I'll sell you my garbage.
