Message	from several money pits in the past. and make sure you get it done by someone you trust, otherwise the mechanic will figure that if something breaks you'll bring it to them anyway, making them money in the end. i have a good mechanic that does everything, believe it or not, for $20, he drives it, lifts it, pulls the tires, checks under the hood, everything. good luck finding someone like that.
