because I wanted to mod things on my N/A when I first got it 5 years ago. At the beginning I wanted performance type mods, but when I realized that $500 headers were going to give me 3-5 HP, well the money seemed better spent elsewhere. Especially now that I own TT, I have learned that speed is just as addicting as modding. Now I look to spend cash on new exhaust piping, bigger turbos, larger injectors, and a good boost controller. But with the N/A, all performance mods make very little difference. It is still a great car, but it lacks alot compared to the TT performance wise. So many people modd the living shit out of the cars. Some of it is just fashionalbe right now, air bags are in vogue and get you get big points at car shows for them. Plus you get the awww, and ohhhh factor of hitting them when people are watching. I have some buddies that have some riced out Hondas, they have bags, and I will admit, it is alot of fun to watch them break and tear up the crap out of their cars :) I wouldnt do it to mine, but it is still fun to watch. This type of stuff means something to some people, and if they are willing to work hard to save and spend cash that way, moe power to them. We all know that 80% of the posters here hate any rice whatsoever. Notice I say posters though. The others that may like that type thing would never speak up because their flame suits got burnt to a crisp months ago! I understand both sides, but either way the car has alot fo work done, alot of it nice work. Some of it very questionable, like the bags, and the tv screens in the side mirrors????? To each there own. It is all a mindstate and its hard to judge unless you totally understand the meaning of the mods they are doing. That orange Z is obviously a show type car, with the audio setup, the bling bling lexani rims, and the air bag suspension. So in that regard he is probably doing well for himself, even though many of you think he bastardized a perfectly good car.
