Message 1. When they say a 500hp potential I think that is actually optimistic. As you know, cars are rated form the factory, etc in bhp, not rwhp and Id bet that is what they are referring to. In the *stock* configuration, the TTZ is capable of close to 500bhp.

2. We dont get alot of respect. The Supra has stolen the spotlight. It has a bigger set of turbos and a bigger set of injectors from the factory, and 430+ rwhp is not uncommon with the stock turbos and injectors. Also, the I-6 offers some inherent harmonic advantages over the V-6, which is why many people think that the true competitior for the Supra is the RB26DETT Skyline.

3. I dont think we are at the bottom of the barrel. We get more respect than the 3kgt VR-4/Stealth TT. The NSX is in a totally different price category and even then, Ive enver heard raves of it over the Z32. The Mazda is an excellent track car and probably does outhandle us with factory suspension but as everyoen knows, those apex seals suck ass; and the supra, Im not sure it handles better but definitely can produce a bit more power with stock parts...It has forged pistons from the factory.

4. Our cars seem to always have the 2nd best times. Almost never first in anything...But almost ALWAYS 2nd best in everything. People tend to not care as much about 2nd best, and so perhaps its been passed up.
