IMO, the T-tops would prevent any kind of gullwing style opening. Even on a slick top, you would have to somehow physically join the roof and the door...but then the Z doors have no upper frame, it's just the window at the top. Where the hell would you put the hinge at? You'd HAVE to make a door that had some extra metal to connect with the roof, then chop up the roof. To support and hinge all of this, you'd be adding quite a bit of totally completely unneccesary weight and complexity to it. I don't see how lambo doors or gullwing doors could possibly reduce weight...you're not taking anything away really, just adding more peices to make it work. Out of the two, lambo's wouldn't add nearly as much weight as the gullwing does, but still some. Props if you have the balls to actually try the gullwings though. I don't think it would improve anything at all about the Z, but it would be quite an engineering feat.
