Or was it last year? Anyway, it's been a while but 2 things are making importing seats not a good a deal as it was back then. Number 1 is that the exchange rates have gone up and number 2 is because the way the vender ships the seats now has gone up in price. By the time you calculate it the seats come out to about the same as they are when you can buy them here. Just as a reference, though, I believe the price of a pair of Torinos plus 2 slider rails was about $1000 shipped and a pair of race buckets and side mount brackets plus sliders was about $700 shipped. The race buckets could be shipped together in 1 box while the sport seats (adjustable backs) had to be shipped individually. Thinking back on the group buy now I have to say that the individuals involved were VERY patient in getting their seat orders completed. The order took several months to complete and not a single person out of the 10 who participated emailed me asking where their seats were. I must say that I was lucky in doing this GB and I thank those involved for their patience but I dont think I'll be doing another one. The logistics involved in getting the order done was rather overwhelming but if you want to take on the task then drop me a line and I'll get you contact information. BTW, sometimes Torinos pop up on ebay for a good price. Also, try emailing Wolf Zizic and see if he has any for sale.
