in my opening post. The oil pressure gauge is not intended nor designed to tell you how much oil is in your crankcase. But at some point, if your oil level gets low enough, you oil pressure on the gauge will drop. Also, since the main fear of everyone from overfilling seems to be "blown seals," it would seem to me that if your oil pressure gauge is still reading normal, then the chances of that happening are not as great. I could be wrong, well, I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken ;c)
