and although I agree with most of what you have said, I have to state the FACTS relative to 3" downpipes: 1) I gained over 30RWHP from 3" downpipes 2) We measured ZERO backpressure with my 3" DP set-up 3) 1/4 mile dropped ONE SECOND from DP change alone 4) 0-60 dropped almost one second from the change from stock to 3" dps 5) spool for max psi dropped to 3100RPM in 4th gear 6) 1/4 mile speed went up 10mph from 100 to 110Now, I can't speak for THE SAME designed downpipes in 2.5" in MY car, but these are the numbers we tested on MY car in particular. GD says 2.5" is ideal, and I understand his argument, but these are the real numbers after going against the norm, and using a 3" system all the way through... I"m just reporting observations here, can't determine the amount of "turbulence", just the output... cheers... :) SS
