Message Since you have 1992 year old intercoolers now with X amount of miles on them. There overall design is minimal and to ask 10 years out of them and then raise the cars overall boost is certainly killing power. More so for the Z32 VGdett30 is the overall car in it's stock design and some handicaps that would benefit it that have been discussed over the years. The car has no heat ventilation under the hood, the motors number 5 and 6 water jackets are very restrictive under a high RPM load. This is why those two cylinders go dead 9 times out 10 over the rest faster. So with heat soak sure to set in within the first 20min driving the car, it's looses it's pep. Know that feeling of when you first start the car and take it out. It feels quicker, more darty. Then it settles into normal operating conditions? Well, designed after-market intercoolers help in maintain that cold start performance. They cool at a great efficiency then stock from new and now had 10 years of driving, oil coated, bugs, rocks dents on your stock ones, now sure it's clear to see the advantage here. You'll get more out of your stock turbo's without rasing the boost pressure from the barometric temperature change in air density.
