Message First, off through all those pulls the car NEVER hit 25psi. The highest I saw it go was a bit below 24psi, and that is keeping in mind my angle on the guage. This is right about the area that I think some said it should be, in the 22-24psi area, but I dotn have a compressor map right in front of me so I cnat be sure....Anyone have a link?

Second observation was that boost fell off relatively quickly as RPMs increased. If you dont see this, your delusional...Its clear as day. What I think this means is that he had hit the peak on the compressor map and as cfm continued to rise, the turbo couldnt push it and thus dropped off to a lower pressure as one would see by the right region of support on the compressor map.

Ask your friend to put the car back to factory specs and see what kind of boost the car runs stock...It should be at about 9 psi. If the turbos are upgraded with say Sport 500s, it will be higher than that...This might help indicate if the turbos are stock.

If he is truly runnign 25psi on stockers, then its only a matter of time before he ruins his engine. The efficiency of ANY turbo at the peak on the compressor map will yield a VERY low efficiency, and hence, quite a lot of heat, etc...
Tell him to knock off the high boost and be nice to his ar. Its a shame to see people jack up such nice cars. Besides, as peopel have said, his car will be faster at 15psi than it will at 23 on the stockers =)
