The value of the resistors doesnt weigh into the way the circuit works AS LONG AS they are all the same value. SO you could build that circuit with say 1k ohm resistors and it shodul work fine. Ill look at the prospect of a different method of doing the circuit some time this afternoon and post back tonight or tomorrow.
