Message Well it only took 4 months, mostly of waiting for the NA to sell, but the TT is finally alive. Thanks go out to Brett, Coz for parts and Rich (boileralum) for assembly know how and all who helped me with the project.

As you may remember (prolly not) i bought the car in less than perfect condition internally with 15 psi compression in #6 cylinder. Yanked the motor out and stripped it down and sent it off to be built. Returned a couple weeks later with new and improved pistons, rods, bearings, valves, and porting.

Here is the piston from before...

And here is the motor after just returning from the machine shop...so pretty. Wished i was patient enough to clean all the bolt on parts before reassembly, but maybe next time :)

Some intake porting..

Exhaust porting, excuse the assembly lube.

and finally the car as it lives for the first time since the injury...sorry the pics are kinda crappy.

Mine and boileralums Zs..

Still have a few bugs, but overall the car looks and runs awesome. I'm so excited to finally join the darkside. And even at 0 psi and 2800 rpm i can tell the car is going to be WAY faster than the NA could ever be.

Can't wait to feel anything above 0 psi for the first time. :)

403 miles and counting.....
