and my engine "knock" totally disappeared. After a couple of weeks it came back. The knock is present at cold start, goes away with warm up and then returns at idle once hot. Disappears under load, which is one reason I always held out hope it wasn't a bearing. Anywho, I did another oil change today with the Rislone, and the knock is gone again. Please tell me, does that suggest that the knock is more likely in the valve train if the additive took it away, even temporarily? Everyone was talking "bearing" to me at the ECZA meet, but the Nissan mechanic who told me to use the Rislone said it was definitely tappet noise. I don't know enough about the bottom end of an engine to know whether or not the Rislone could also help with a bad bearing.
