| Let's see if I can type after a 6:30am-5:30pm school day... It's an advantage to a TT, speaking from a purely performance perspective, not a fun perspective. Yes, I'd love to drive a manual, it would definitely be more fun. All I'm saying is that in a recent race, a Supra that has more power than me lost because he had to shift :) Cost him a little less than a carlength each shift. Oh, I know another reason to state in the unwinable auto vs manual debate: I don't have to change the clutch ever, even with 425+rwhp :) Oh, oh! Overdrive is .69:1, and manual's is .75:1 ---> helped me get 25.09mpg a few tanks back.. I'm averaging 24. Given a free choice, I'd switch to manual. There, no one can pick on me. Kez
"Pulled the blower fan down from behind the glovebox and there was a mouse nest inside the cage fan - mom and 6 babies. Mom was dead and the reason for the smell - petrifying fast - but the babies were hanging on. At least until I fed them to the cats." [ZXtaZTT - June 19, 2002] |
