Message Texas is known as an "at will" employment state. In other words, employers can fire you "at will" when ever they please. They don't need to give you a notice, or warning... your just out on your ass. Labor unions are almost non existent in the state as well. Employers can do whatever they want basically besides putting you in danger or cause potential problems to your health (just the short of it.)
