WTB: Mechanic. Seriously though, we are looking for a mechanic to start as soon as they can. We prefer someone with experience working in a shop with performance car experience as well. If you are a Nissan expert you move to the front of the consideration line. Houston Z encourages both female and male applicants to apply. We will have you work in our shop for one to three days after we meet with you to determine if you fit our very small and tight team. We will give you a job to do (paid) and see your real world skills. Big ego's, attitude problems, and know it all's will not be welcome here. We prefer mechanics with experience and tools. We can give training but we are so busy that we don't have time to hand hold a new to the industry person. Our shop has any tool you should need, but we ask that you have the essentials to make work more productive. Pay will be commensurate with experience and skill level. We generally do a base plus flag bonus hours. No one at our shop is above taking out the trash, sweeping, learning, asking for help, and cleaning (even the owners), so if your a person who thinks he or she is too good for that then you will not fit here.
