| Z1 One piece Driveshafts We have these driveshafts available for all Z32 applications. TT or NA, 5spd or Automatic, 2 seater or 4 seater, and hybrid applications (rear end swaps, conversions, etc.) 1. These driveshafts are roughly half the weight of the stock driveshafts. 2. These driveshafts have replaceable U-joints, unlike the stock driveshafts. 3. With this driveshaft you eliminate the midshaft bearing. 4. These shafts are balanced and ready for installation. 5. The one piece design inherently means better torque transfer to the rear wheels. 6. Made from Spicer’s own proprietary tubing, designed and made for driveshafts exclusively. OEM driveshafts are constructed with a split design, which uses an additional universal joint in the center which is supported by a carrier bearing. Over time, this carrier bearing's rubber coupling wears out and the universal joints develop 'notches' that cause the driveshaft to wobble. This produces low frequency vibration in the cabin and can be a potential hazard not to mention annoying. OEM driveshafts do not have replaceable universal joints and are costly to replace. Our 1 piece driveshafts eliminate the center support bearing by design, weigh less than OEM, and are made with high quality universal joints which can be easily rebuilt. Each driveshaft is precision balanced and exceeds OEM specifications.
