Hello, The time has come to sell my baby, a 300zx Twin Turbo. I’d rather keep it but a 400HP 2 door 2 seater car does not bode well with the lady and 12 yr old daughter, not to mention my line of work. A 4 door BMW is now on the driveway so the Z has to go…Now on to some details about the Z. It’s a 1992 5spd Ultra Red Twin Turbo 300ZX with T-tops. It has 137,000 Kms on the body and about 45,000 Km on the engine (more on this later). It has the grey suede interior and black leather seats. The Driver’s seat has 8 way power which works flawlessly. The driver’s side has normal wear in the bolster (but no rips or tears). The car also has digital climate control, Air Conditioning, power door locks, power mirrors, power windows, power steering, Super HICAS and cruise control. Now for some history… I purchased the car about 4 years ago and shortly after decided to give it a thorough mechanical do-over. The work was performed by Absolute MotorSports (VUK), which includes: engine rebuild with full Nissan kit, porting the water passages, new turbos, replace water pump, oil pump, timing belt and tensioner, motor mounts, rear main seal, clutch, EGR removal, custom AMS exhaust, A’pexi intake, boost jets, Jim Wolf ECU, and a few other items I now forget. The estimated HP is about 400HP at the crank. Additional work done to the car includes new tension rods, brand new Power transitor Unit (relocated underneath the nose panel), new fuel filter, Injector replacement including all rings and seals, new fuel hoses and clamps, ground net install, crank angle sensor, brake master cylinder, short shift kit and there’s more that I don’t remember. Basically all the maintenance has been done. The car has clear corners and blinkers but everything else is stock looking iirc. The car was maintained regularly with mobil 1 synthetic and OEM Nissan filter changes every 4500-5000 KM. It has new rear tires ( Bridgestone Potenza S02) and the front tires have at least 70% thread. I was in the process of building a full competition grade (seriously high end) stereo with 8” midbass in the doors and 2 way in the kicks which I can complete or replace the kick panels to stock. The 8’s will soon be covered by custom door pods. The car trunk has a 2.5 net cubic foot fiberglass box custom shaped to the interior which is currently set up to house a JL Audio 13W7 subwoofer or can be adapted to fit any 15” woofer. All power, speaker and RCA wiring is already set-up. There is also some sound dampening material added to critical areas to reduce vibrations and quiet the interior. I can design and source a full system (basic to high end) to your specifications if desired, contact me for more details on the system if needed. The car is fast and handles like a dream… its amazingly fun to drive! It will be certified at time of sale since it needs nothing to certify. The car is located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and test drives can of course be set-up, but please no dream pilots… my time is precious and need not be wasted. I hope it goes into the hands of a Z fan that really knows these cars. There’s lots more to be told but I’d prefer to do it in person or over the phone.
