Message	hello, I just replaced the motor and 5spd transmission in my 90 NA with a used setup from a 93 car. The motor has about 10k miles on it after being completely rebuilt. For some reason the motor consumed oil and smoked which is why i replaced it. I didn't have the time to deal with tearing this motor apart to diagnose the cause of this. The transmission that came out of the car has a notchy feel going into 2nd gear and also has a whine most noticeable in 5th gear on the highway.
