in unusually nice original condition; few can believe it is 16 years old. It has always been garaged and never driven winters, accounting for its nice shape and only 67,700 miles. I took the car on trade 2 years ago from one who owns one of the James Hill mansions in St. Paul. It had low compression on #1 cylinder, which turned out to be a seized compression ring; fortunately no damage was done to the block. I put the car back together in stock form with following components and a few minor alterations: New Nissan piston rings in professionally honed bores;
Block casting flash removed and block steam cleaned;
3 angle valve job, updated intake valves, all new seals;
All new Nissan gaskets, seals and bearings;
New Nismo 370cc injectors, O rings and rail seals;
New timing belt, water and oil pumps;
Garrett factory rebuilt turbos (E Coast Turbo) with new journal bearing cartridges, SP 500 compressor wheels, ceramic-coated turbine housings, and new Nissan oil lines:
New HKS adjustable actuators;
AAE ceramic coated performance cast manifolds;
Custom 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 " stainless downpipes;
New (1000 mile) Nissan stock mufflers....sounds great!
New 20% over stock clutch cover, disk, and release bearing:
All fresh fluids, ready to drive anywhere. This car is super smooth (even to my wife) and quite fast....0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Many would be tempted to install many performance modifications to a car like this, but I belive that the closer it remains to its original form, the better it will retain its value...and reliability for years to come. I will probably never have this fine a car again, but selling it is the best for my family finances...besides the fact that I have two other project cars. Offered at $11,900. Will deliver anywhere in the continental US for the price of the gas. Thanks for looking.
